THE BIG ISLAND SUMMITS...

.A slow moving cold front will spread deep moisture over the Big
Island tonight, resulting in snow on the Big Island summits of 
Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to 1 inch. 
  Winds gusting as high as 75 mph.

* WHERE...Big Island Summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Blowing snow will 
  significantly reduce visibility at times, with periods of zero 
  visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
