...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR MAUNA KEA AND MAUNA LOA...

.Deep moisture associated with an upper trough will lead to 
periods of snowfall on the Big Island summits. Strong winds will
produce blowing snow conditions decreasing visibility and 
building snow drifts over roads.

EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow and blowing snow expected. Additional snow 
  accumulations of up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 65 
  mph.

* WHERE...The summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa above 11000 feet.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and poor visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
