...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THROUGH 6 AM WEDNESDAY FOR THE 
HALEAKALA AND BIG ISLAND SUMMITS...

.A weakening cold core low will pass over the islands overnight,
maintaining cold temperatures on the high summits of the Big
Island and Maui above 9,000 ft. Melting snow and ice will 
refreeze, and there will be a chance of additonal freezing rain 
and snow showers.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT....Ice that accumulated Monday and that has been melting
  during the day will refreeze overnight on roads and structures.
  There will be a chance of snow showers and freezing rain as
  well.

* WHERE...Haleakala and Big Island Summits above 9,000 feet.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery and hazardous road conditions 
  leading to road closures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
