...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM HST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Showers will likely continue to move
  over Maui and the Big Island today, leading to additional snow
  accumulations of up to two inches, and ice accumulations of 
  less than one quarter of an inch.

* WHERE...Haleakala and Big Island Summits above 8,500 feet.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions leading to road
  closures. Blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility at
  times, with periods of zero visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
