...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR THE SUMMITS OF MAUNA KEA AND MAUNA
LOA FROM MIDNIGHT THROUGH 6 PM HST WEDNESDAY...

.A strong upper level trough will combine with an area of moisture
currently near Maui to produce winter weather on the high 
summits. With freezing levels dropping to around 9,000 feet,
winter weather is expected on the high elevations of Haleakala
tonight. Chances for winter weather shift to the summits of Mauna
Kea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island late tonight and Wednesday.

  of up to three inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of 
  an inch are expected.

* WHERE...Big Island Summits above 9,000 feet.

* WHEN...Midnight to 6 PM Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities at 
  times along with hazardous road conditions.
