...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Plan on difficult
  travel conditions. A wintry mix of snow and freezing rain at
  times with some ice and snow accumulation expected at 
  elevations above 9000 feet.

* WHERE...Haleakala Summit and Big Island Summits.

* WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong and gusty winds may accompany the
  wintry precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow or ice accumulations that may impact the summits. Anyone
