SATURDAY...

.A low aloft will maintain wintery weather on the summits of
Haleakala on Maui, and Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island
of Hawaii through mid morning today.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM HST THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Freezing Drizzle and ice.

* WHERE...The summits of Haleakala on Maui, and Mauna Kea and
  Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii above 9000 feet of
  elevation.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Roads near the summits will remain treacherous
  due to snow and ice. The National Park Service has closed the 
  road leading to Haleakala summit. The road to the summit of 
  Mauna Kea also remains closed to the public.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Postpone travel to the summits until conditions improve.
