...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR HALEAKALA AND BIG ISLAND 
SUMMITS...

.A powerful winter storm will track over the island chain tonight,
bringing a band of enhanced moisture that is likely to produce 
accumulating snow and ice over the Haleakala and Big Island 
Summits. In addition to snow and ice accumulations, very windy 
conditions and unusually cold temperatures are expected.

* WHAT...Ice accumulation, freezing fog and scattered snow
  showers. Plan on slippery road conditions. Additional snow
  accumulations of up 1 inch is expected.

* WHERE...Big Island summits above 9000 feet.

* WHEN...Through tonight.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities below
  a quarter miles at times and very windy conditions.
