...Winter Weather Advisory for Big Island Summits above
13000 feet...

.An upper trough west of the state will funnel deep layered
clouds across the Big Island over the next several days. As
temperatures remain around freezing at the summit level, a mix of
rain and snow will lead to moderate accumulations on roads that 
will make travel to the top of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa hazardous 
through the early morning hours. Strong southwest winds at the 
summits will blow snow around. This advisory may need to be 
extended through midweek.

MORNING...

* WHAT...A mix of rain and snow at the summits of Mauna Kea and
  Mauna Loa. Snow accumulation of 1 inch is expected.

* WHERE...Big Island Summits above 13000 feet.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM HST today.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong southwest winds will blow snow
  around. Along with overcast clouds and fog, visibilities may be
  significantly reduced at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of rain and snow 
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and
limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
