.A cold upper trough combined with deep moisture will produce 
freezing drizzle and freezing fog with light icing on the Big 
Island summits overnight.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM HST MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for freezing drizzle and ice, which is in effect
until 10 AM HST Monday. 

* LOCATION...Big Island summits above 12000 feet.

* HAZARD TYPE...Freezing drizzle and freezing fog.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Up to one quarter of an inch of ice.

* TIMING...Overnight and early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Light ice accumulations on roads and exposed 
  structures. The summit road has been closed at the Visitor 
  Information Station.

* WINDS...Northeast to east at 10 to 20 mph.

* VISIBILITIES...Less than 1/4 mile at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
