10 AM HST SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from midnight
tonight to 10 AM HST Sunday.

* LOCATION...Big Island summits above 12000 feet.

* HAZARD TYPE...Snow and ice.

* ACCUMULATIONS...Up to 3 inches of snow.

* TIMING...Late tonight and possibly into Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous driving on slippery roads.

* VISIBILITIES...Below one half mile in snow and clouds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
