For the central North Pacific, between 140W and 180W:

Although typically the most active month for tropical cyclones in
the central North Pacific, none occurred in the basin this August.

Reports on individual tropical cyclones, when completed, are
available at the Central Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC) website at
www.prh.noaa.gov/cphc/summaries/

The summary table below only includes tropical cyclones in
the CPHC area of responsibility, and the dates are based on
Universal Coordinated Time (UTC).
