For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:

An area of low pressure is located about 870 miles southeast of
Hilo, Hawaii. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms associated
with this feature are mainly confined to an area well east of the
low's center. Little significant development of this system is
expected due to strong upper-level winds as it moves westward at
about 15 mph during the next couple of days.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...low...10 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...low...10 percent.

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected during the next 5
days.
